Payment & Cancellation Policy
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations occur when you do not or are unable to reschedule an appointment.
You have 3 no charge cancellations in a calender year while you are attending weekly sessions.
What form of payment do you accept?
HSA Cards & all Credit/Debit Cards
How do you collect payment for sessions?
I use a HIPPA compliant platform called IVY PAY. This is where you input your card information, are able to change form of payment and are charged for services automatically.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I am and out-of-network provider.
How much do sessions cost?
Individual sessions cost $250 per 60 minutes.
Couples sessions cost $375 per 90 minutes.
Intensive pricing varies depending upon number of sessions.

What do I do if I’m ready to schedule a session with you?

How can I prepare for my session?
To give you just one thing be honest. Hopefully that is already a goal of yours to be honest with me in session but those that I have seen truly blossom are being honest with themselves.
What if I get the urge to cancel an intake session?
A normal urge experienced by many and some do end up canceling an intake. Getting the urge to cancel is a normal response and as much as I’d like to tell I’m ready to met you, which I am. It’s just as true that you need to be willing even if you might never feel quite ready.
What do I bring to a counseling session?
Yourself and any thing you might want to share. Some find it helpful to have a pen a paper ready for notes. I usually recommend hydration and possibly a snack. And I will never say no to seeing a picture of your pets, unless you’re using that to avoid stuff. 🙂
What do I wear to therapy?
Get as comfortable a possible! Leave all the discomfort for the work we do. 🙂
Benefits and Risks to Therapy
What are the benefits of online sessions?
Online sessions can be easier to accommodate into your schedule without having to commute or encounter traffic which can be even more frustrating to face after a challenging session.
How do I know if therapy would help?
The hard truth is that you don’t. My hope is that it does. Both my personal and professional experience has witnessed magical changes in the lives of those I’ve worked with and for myself.
How do I know therapy is working?
Everyone is different but here are a few early signs that therapy is working are:
- Knowing that the issues you are struggling with will be addressed
- Feeling lighter
- Having a sense that problems arising are normal.
- Feeling relief
- Increased sense of community
- Increased understanding of yourself and the problems you are facing
- Decreased sensations of dread or doom
- Decreased sense of being alone
Who I work with
Do I have to live in Oklahoma or Colorado to work with you?
Yes, due to licensing laws I am only able to work with those that are physically located in either the state of Colorado or Oklahoma.
Do I have to be married to see you for couples counseling?
No, if you are in a relationship you are welcome to come in for couples. It does not matter how long you have been in a relationship or whether marriage is even something you two want for couples counseling to be the right fit for the two of you.
What ages do you work with?
I work with adults ages 21 and up.
How long does couples work take?
Couples can plan for about 6 months of couples work.
What is the structure of session?
People work with me weekly then as they obtain the main goals we have outlines we move to 90minute bi-weekly sessions. We move into the final phase of therapy by moving to once a month and setting up a final termination session.
Do you provide non-Christian counseling?
Yes, I do not practice counseling from a Christian lens. I know several practitioners who do. I am happy to send you a referral to one if that’s what you are looking for.
Do you provide counseling for LGBTQIA2S?
Yes.
